According to the regulations of the Guinea-Bissau Port Authority, starting from January 11, 2010, all goods shipped to the port of Bissau must obtain an ECTN number from the agent authorized by the Port Authority and display it on the bill of lading before loading. Please strictly implement this regulation. Failure to provide or providing an incorrect ECTN number will result in serious consequences such as container detention and fines at the destination port.

(II) Application process
1. The applicant provides application materials and sends them to our email support@globalferi.com;
2. After receiving the above materials, our company calculates the cost of the ticket and issues a formal payment slip;
3. The applicant arranges remittance and provides a water bill for our financial staff to check;
4. Our company reviews the information provided by the applicant and guides the modification of application documents that do not meet the requirements. After the documents are correct, our company issues a draft for the applicant to confirm;
5. After the applicant confirms the draft, our company issues the ECTN number. Once the number is assigned, it must be processed within 4 working days, otherwise the ECTN will be cancelled and the fee will not be refunded;
6. Our company will send the approved original ECTN certificate to the applicant by email and forward it to the consignee for customs clearance at the destination port.
Note:
**Please strictly follow the relevant requirements to prepare commercial invoices, customs declarations and bills of lading and ensure that the documents are consistent.
**Since April 1, 2013, CEE has replaced the previous ECTN document and is a valid document for customs clearance.
