On June 15, 2023, the Djibouti Ports and Free Zones Authority decided that all goods (including goods in transit) must obtain a Djibouti ECTN certificate. There are no exceptions to the new law that applies to all goods. The ECTN number must appear on the bill of lading.

(II) Application process
1. The applicant provides the application materials and sends them to our email support@globalferi.com;
2. After receiving the above materials, our company will guide the modification of the application documents that do not meet the requirements. After the documents are correct, the certificate number and draft will be issued for the applicant to confirm;
3. After the applicant confirms, our company will issue a bill; the applicant arranges the remittance and provides the water bill for our financial staff to check;
4. After receiving the payment, our company will issue the original copy to the applicant.
Note: **ECTN certificate must be effective at least five days before the ship arrives, otherwise fines may be incurred or customs clearance may not be possible.
