Introduction to ECTN/BESC in Côte d’Ivoire
According to Decree No. 340 issued by Côte d’Ivoire Government on November 12, 2001, all goods shipped to Côte d’Ivoire should apply for BESC, otherwise the shipping company can not issue the bill of lading,or it may result in the failure of customs clearance at the destination port. The following are the materials and procedures for BESC in Côte d’Ivoire, please read it carefully.
Materials for Applications:
① Customs Declaration
② Original Bill of Lading(draft)
③ Certificate of Origin
④ Stamped Commercial Invoice
⑤ Stamped Sea Freight Invoice
⑥ Stamped Packing List
⑦ Insurance
Application Procedure
① Please send the materials required for application to support@globalferi.com.
② After receiving the above materials and calculating the cost, a debit note will be issued.
③ Please arrange payment and send us the bank slip for inspection by our financial personnel.
④ We will review the materials provided and guide the modification of them. Draft will be issued first for confirmation.
⑤ If you need to assign the BESC number first, please provide the shipping company’s format bill of lading with the accurate SHIPPED ON BOARD date. Once the BESC number is assigned, the shipper and consignee’s information cannot be changed.
⑥After the BSC number is issued, please supplement the scanned copy of the original bill of lading. After receiving it and all the other information, materials will be uploaded to the system for confirmation of the approval authority at the destination port.
⑥ The effective original BESC certificate will be sent to the applicant by email. It can be forwarded to the consignee at the destination port for customs clearance.
