According to the notification from the Sudan Customs Authority, effective from 1 January 2026, all goods shipped to Sudan by sea must have an ACD application submitted and the final original certificate approved and validated before the goods arrive in Sudanese territory. Goods without a valid ACD will not be able to complete customs clearance at the destination and may face severe penalties. Please read the following application documents and procedures carefully.
Required documents:
1.ACD application form
2.Bill of lading
3.Packing list
4.Commercial invoice
5.Certificate of origin
Application procedure:
1.The applicant sends the required documents to our email: support@globalferi.com.
2.Upon receipt, we will calculate the costs and issue a formal payment note.
3.The applicant arranges the transfer and provides the bank slip for our finance team to verify.
4.We review the submitted documents and guide amendments for any non-compliant files. Once the documents are correct, we issue a draft for the applicant’s confirmation.
5.The applicant provides the final original Bill of Lading; we then upload it to the system and submit to the destination approval authority for final review.
6.After approval, the original ACD certificate (in PDF format) will be emailed to the applicant, who shall forward it to the consignee and the shipping company at the destination port.
Important notes:
1.The original Sudan ACD must be applied for and issued before the vessel arrives at the port; otherwise, late penalties will apply.
2.Any amendments after the original Sudan ACD has been approved will incur an additional amendment fee.
