According to the regulations of the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning of Ghana, all goods shipped to Ghana must be processed with an ECTN electronic cargo tracking note, and each bill of lading must be equipped with an ECTN number, otherwise the shipowner will be fined. If no application is made, it will be deemed to have violated the transportation supervision regulations for shipping to Ghana and customs clearance cannot be successfully completed locally.
