Introduction to ECTN/BESC in Mali
According to the provisions of Decree No. 05-341/P-RM on July 25, 2005 and Decree No. 08-3718/MET-MF-MEIC-S6 on December 31, 2008 promulgated by the Malian government, all goods shipped to Malian passing through Port of Dakar(Senegal), Abidjan (Côte d’Ivoire) or Conakry (Guinea) must apply for an electronic cargo tracking note. Otherwise, customs can not be cleared and goods can not be picked up at the destination port. The following are the materials and procedures for ECTN/BESC in Mali, please read it carefully.
Materials for Applications:

Application Procedure
① Please send the materials required for application to support@globalferi.com.
② After receiving the above materials and calculating the cost, a debit note will be issued.
③ Please arrange payment and send us the bank slip for inspection by our financial personnel.
④ We will review the materials provided and guide the modification of them. Draft will be issued first for confirmation.
⑤ After the draft is confirmed, the ECTN number will be issued. Once the number is assigned, it must be completed within 4 working days, otherwise the ECTN will be canceled and the fee will not be refunded.
⑥ After receiving the original bill of lading, materials will be uploaded to the system for confirmation of the approval authority at the destination port.
⑦ The effective original ECTN certificate will be sent to the applicant by email. It can be forwarded to the consignee at the destination port for customs clearance.
Note: The ECTN certificate must take effect within one week before the ship arrives at the destination port.
